Ars Electronica 2018

A team of researchers and artistis from the Media and Arts Technology programme has been busy organising, producing, and showing a fantastic MAT Exhibition as part of Ars Electronica 2018. The Augmented Instruments Lab contributed to this event with two artworks and one workshop!

The ChandeLIA is an unique suspended musical instrument that explores spatial gesture mapping and microtonality.

The Cembalo Scrivano is an interactive audiovisual installation based on an augmented typewriter.
